GTLP

Development and promotion of the Guaranteed Transport and Logistics Product (GTLP) on Eurasian rail routes on the basis of regular international container train services.

In the framework of the project the Memorandum on Cooperation between the Participants of the Experiment of Safety Maintained for Transportation in Container Trains Running in China – Europe – China Service with the Use of Innovative Equipment and Systems, was signed, as well as a draft Memorandum on Cooperation of Stakeholders in Creating and Promoting the GTLP was prepared.

For the purpose of increasing the railway container transportation via the TSR and its integration in the complex transport and logistics solutions, the CCTT Secretariat conducts focused activities regarding the creation of conditions for further development of the transit transportation through the Trans-Siberian Railway.

1) Assistance in operation of ChinaEurope block train services.

The following container ChinaEurope services are organized under the CCTT support:

- Chengdu – Lodz (during 9 months 2015 there were 39 container trains dispatched, with 3,194 TEU transported, which was a 13.1% increase compared to the same period in 2014),

- Zhengzhou – Hamburg (during 9 months 2015 there were 41 container trains dispatched, with 3,534 TEU transported, which was a 10.7% increase compared to the same period in 2014. 22 container trains were dispatched in the opposite direction with 1,752 TEU transported),

- Chongqing – Duisburg (during 9 months 2015 there were 103 container trains dispatched, with 8,832 TEU transported, which was 2.1 times as many as in the same period in 2014),

- Wuhan – Lodz (during 9 months 2015 there were 20 container trains dispatched, with 1922 TEU transported),

- Yiwu –Madrid (during 9 months 2015 there were 5 container trains dispatched, with 416 TEU transported. 2 container trains were dispatched in the opposite direction with 142 TEU transported).

The sessions relating to the block container train running in the China – Europe – China service took place on 5 March and 23 June 2015 in the CCTT Moscow office, as well as on 25 May 2015 in Warsaw. The results of the sessions are covered in the Protocol and Minutes.

2) Assistance to freight transportation by the Baltic Transit train.

There is the Baltic Transit container train service, which is in operation since May 2003 under the aegis of the CCTT.

The issues related to operation were considered during the session held in the Moscow office of CCTT on 3 March 2015. The results of the sessions are covered in the Minutes.

3) Assistance in implementation of the ‘Transsib in 7 Days‘project.

In the course of the project, which was launched on 28th April 2013, the CCTT members RZD, TransContainer and VSK organised a joint regular train service on the following routes: Nakhodka Vostochnaya – Moskva Tov. Paveletskaya – Nakhodka; Pervaya Rechka – Moskva Tov. Paveletskaya – Khabarovsk; Kleshchikha – Pervaya Rechka – Kleshchikha; SPB Tov. Vitebsky – Pervaya Rechka; Ussuriysk – Moskva Tov. Paveletskaya; Ussuriysk – Kuntsevo.

The CCTT Secretariat takes an active part in promoting this transport product in the market and attracting cargo owners as prospective clients of the Trans-Siberian service.
