A memorandum of cooperation between the Eurasian Union of Transport, Forwarding and Logistics Organizations and the International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation was signed

On November 22, 2021 Gennady Bessonov, the Secretary General of the International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation, Forwarding and Logistics and Vitaly Efimov, the Vice-president of the Eurasian Union of Transport, Forwarding and Logistics Organizations signed the «Memorandum of Cooperation between the Eurasian Union of Transport, Forwarding and Logistics Organizations and the International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation».

The document, highlighting the importance of cooperation in the development of multimodal transport, the introduction of advanced technical and technological solutions in transport and logistics, defined priorities and areas of cooperation. In particular, within the framework of the signed document the parties have agreed to cooperate on a mutually beneficial basis in developing the market of logistic services; introduction of modern digital systems in logistics, ensuring the effective solution of the tasks for optimizing supply chains and international transportation.

In order to achieve these goals, it is planned to hold joint conferences, business-forums, seminars, and roundtables. Mutual participation of representatives in the regional and international events organized and held by the parties will contribute to achieving the goals of the Memorandum.

Implementation of this Memorandum will allow more active using of bilateral and multilateral international cooperation potential for solution of statutory objectives and development of transport services as a whole.
