CCTT and FESCO TG seminar "Accelerated cargo shipments from the Republic of Korea to Europe via the Trans-Siberian Route".

On November 1, 2019, a joint CCTT/FESCO TG seminar "Accelerated cargo shipments from the Republic of Korea to Europe via the Trans-Siberian Route" was held in the Republic of Korea, Seoul.

Welcoming words were said by Mr. Gennady Bessonov, CCTT Secretary General, Mr. Byung-Jin Kim, Chairman of the Korean Association of International Freight Forwarders (KIFFA), and Mr. Chang Min Gu, Director General of FESCO Lines Korea, who noted the great potential of economic relations between Russia and the Republic of Korea in the development of cargo transportation along the Trans-Siberian Route.
It was discussed about the issues of launching a new regular transit service of FESCO TG from the Republic of Korea to Europe via the Trans-Siberian Route, improvement of logistics on the routes through the territory of the Russian Federation, innovations in transport business and logistics, as well as the need to create a new technological platform and solutions that will reduce the barriers of cargo flows in Euro-Asian traffic.
