CCTT took part in the online Transport forum "Logistics panorama"

CCTT took part in the online transport forum "Logistics panorama", which was organized on June 16, 2020 by the magazine RZD Partner. The central topic of discussion was the obstacles to the development of multimodal transportation in Russia.

The forum was attended by representatives of state authorities, public organizations, industry experts, as well as Russian industrial and transport enterprises of various scales that provide and use logistics services.

The forum discussed issues of development and current aspects of the cargo transportation market. In particular, the forum participants discussed the growth of container traffic on the network, despite the general trend of a decline in loading, including transit traffic on the Chinese route. The main reasons for the growth were failures in Maritime transportation, interruption of air traffic and restrictions on the passage of borders by motor transport.

Reducing the tariff for transit loaded containers and subsidizing transit traffic will undoubtedly have an effect, but only in the short term. For a significant increase of volumes, first of all, it is necessary to carefully look at how the Russian infrastructure meets the conditions for transit growth.
