Meeting of CCTT Secretary General G.I. Bessonov with member of the Board (Minister) on Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission T.I. Asanbekov

On July 30, 2021, CCTT Secretary General G.I. Bessonov met with T.I. Asanbekov, member of the Board (Minister) for Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the state and prospects for the development of cooperation between the International Coordinating Council for Trans-Eurasian Transportation and the Eurasian Economic Commission. Within the framework of a constructive and fruitful dialogue, the importance of continuing active cooperation on a wide range of issues related to the development of international transport corridors and Trans-Eurasian transportation was reaffirmed.

"It is important to concentrate general efforts on the practical implementation of the transit potential of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as, taking into account the decisions made within the framework of the Union, on the introduction of advanced transport and logistics technologies, the promotion of digital, multimodal and "green" services," G.I. Bessonov said at the meeting.

G.I. Bessonov invited T.I. Asanbekov to take part in the XXX Plenary Session of CCTT to be held on September 15-16, 2021.
