On September 30 - October 1, 2019, the International Forum "Transit Potential of the Eurasian Continent" was held in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia within the framework of the EAEU meeting.
The purpose of the event was to create a platform for discussing opportunities and prospects for realizing the transit potential of the Eurasian continent, voicing existing challenges and problems, and searching for mutually beneficial and relevant solutions to realize the existing potential in the region.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan was present at the opening ceremony.
The Forum was held in the form of panel discussions. During the forum, speakers were high-ranking officials of EAEU member states and partners: Deputy Prime Ministers, ministers coordinating the transport sector, the Chairman and ministers of the EAEU Board, representatives of international road transport associations, the business community and international organizations.
The session "Great Eurasia in the context of transcontinental transport links" was moderated by CCTT Secretary General Gennady Bessonov.
