The CCTU took part in the 29th Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly of the UIC, which was held on June 29, 2020 via videoconference. 

CCTT took part in the 29th Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly of the UIC, which was held on June 29, 2020 via videoconference. 

UIC Director General Francois Davenne and Deputy Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" Sauat Mynbayev made welcoming speeches. During the meeting, issues on the agenda, work plans, the current situation and prospects for the development of UIC projects for 2021, and the admission of new members to the UIC were considered. The conference participants noted the specifics of the current situation related to the coronavirus pandemic.

Within the framework of the UIC's interaction with international organizations, cooperation with the CCTT was noted according to the Memorandum of Cooperation of March 28, 2012.

On March 28, 2012, a new version of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the CCTT and the UIC was signed in Paris, and a specific Program of Cooperation between the CCTT and the UIC for 2012-2015 was developed.The Memorandum and the Program were approved at the 80th European Assembly of the UIC (09.07.2012, Philadelphia).
