The Russian news agency TASS, the company Business Dialog in cooperation with the CCTT held an online videoconference "Container Flow 2020. How to increase the volume of transit traffic and attract highly profitable cargo" on July 7, 2020.

The event was attended by the heads of transport and logistics enterprises, top managers of companies operating in the field of online trade, cargo owners, manufacturers of rolling stock, members of international associations in the field of transport, operators and freight forwarders.

During the event, new challenges, current problems and opportunities opened up for the transport and logistics complex during the pandemic were discussed. The participants of the event noted the key changes in the container transportation market in Russia and in the world, as well as the availability of accelerated cargo delivery on the East-West and North-South routes.

The speaker of the session of the International Transport Corridors East-West and North-South was Mr. Gennady Bessonov, Secretary General of the CCTT, who presented the main directions of CCTT practical activities for maintaining and increasing the volume of transit traffic in Euro-Asian communications in the new economic conditions.

The session International Transport Corridors East-West and North-South was devoted to the dynamics of international cargo flows in the new reality, containerization of cargo, development of regular container traffic, implementation of international infrastructure projects during the pandemic, as well as digitalization and acceleration of customs procedures.
