XIII International Conference "TransBaltica 2021"
On May 27, 2021, the XIII International Conference "TransBaltica 2021" was held via videoconference with the support of the CCTT.
The conference was attended by the heads and authorized representatives of the Ministry of Transport of Latvia, the Baltic Sea Ports, the Latvian Railway, transport and logistics companies and experts.
The key issues of the conference this year were the trends and prospects for the development of the international market of transport and transit services during the post-pandemic recovery of the world economy, the environment in transport, as well as forecasts for the development of the Baltic transit industry and transport infrastructure projects in the United Europe.
In his speech, CCTT Secretary General Mr. Gennady Bessonov, noted the importance of stable economic and political factors affecting the attraction of additional cargo to the Baltic States, as well as the development of stable and mutually beneficial cooperation with partners from Latvia.
Reference: The annual conference "TransBaltica" is a platform for dialogue between representatives of the transport industry interested in the economic development of the Baltic region. The joint dialogue helps to develop joint solutions that will contribute to increasing transport connectivity in the region and increasing the volume of transit cargo.
