During the meeting of Mr. Mikhail Goncharov, CCTT Secretary General, with Mr. Hirohito Toda, ESCAP Deputy Executive Secretary, the importance of further close cooperation and interaction between CCTT and ESCAP on the promotion of seamless rail and multimodal transportation in Northeast and Central Asia to strengthen Euro-Asian transport links, was noted.

The meeting was also attended by Mrs. Natalia Stepanova, CCTT Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Weimin Ren, Director, ESCAP Transport Department, Ms Aizhar Jaimurzina Ducrest, Head, Transport Connectivity and Logistics Section, Transport Department, Mr. Fedor Kormilitsyn, Economic Specialist, Transport Connectivity and Logistics Section, Transport Department.
