CCTT Secretariat took part in business events within the framework of the 17th TILOG 2024 International Logistics Exhibition, which took place on August 15-17, 2024 in Bangkok

During the exhibition and the annual meeting of the Federation of ASEAN Freight Forwarders Associations (AFFA) in Bangkok, bilateral meetings and talks were held between Mr. Mikhail Goncharov, CCTT Secretary General, Mr. Alvin Chua Seng, AFFA Chairman, and Mr. Stanley Lim, AFFA Honorary Secretary.
Stressing the importance of intersectoral cooperation, in particular the interaction of transport, logistics, forwarding operators, insurance, financial organisations, companies working in the fields of transport, customs, industrial and agricultural production, trade, digital solutions and other areas of activity, for the formation of competitive and demanded transport products, the parties agreed on the implementation of joint initiatives aimed at the development of cargo transportation in the CIS - China – ASEAN connection.

Background information:
The Federation of ASEAN Freight Forwarders Associations (AFFA) is a regional intergovernmental organisation including ten Southeast Asian states that facilitates freight forwarding through intergovernmental cooperation and simplifies the transportation of goods through tripartite transport between its members and Asian states. Since its foundation on 7 December 1991 by Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei and Thailand, the organisation's membership has expanded to include Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam.
In 2023, the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in Chongqing (the PRC) between the International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation (CCTT), the Federation of ASEAN Freight Forwarders Associations (AFFA) and the China International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFA)
