Round table of FBA EAC - CCTT "Who and how is forming a new map of international logistics"

On November 2023 in Moscow at CCTT Secretariat in a hybrid format was held a round table of FBA EAC - CCTT, "Who and how is forming a new map of international logistics."

The moderators of the event were CCTT Secretary General Mr. Gennady Bessonov and Board member of FBA EAC, Managing Director of Eurasian strategic consulting LLC Mr. Vladimir Kotenev.

The Chairman of the Board of the FBA EAC, Vice-President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Doctor of Economics Mr. A.V. Murychev addressed the participants and guests of the round table with a welcoming speech.

Representatives of transport and logistics companies, seaports, the banking sector, and research institutes took part in the round table. Totally more than 80 participants from 9 countries.

During the round table, invited experts discussed key trends in the development and transformation of global logistics. The need to balance transit and export-import routes, as well as ensuring transport interoperability, was identified as pressing problems. Prospective investment projects for the development of the railway and maritime infrastructure of the East-West and North-South international transport corridors, aimed at the development of multimodal transport in the Caspian, Azov-Black Sea basins and on sea lines of the Indian Ocean, were also considered.

Taking into account sanctions restrictions and global economic turbulence, which significantly influence the future development of logistics processes throughout Eurasia, experts also identified key trends, such as paperless technologies and digital currency, which will in the near future shape the trajectory of the development of Russian business transport relations with partners in Europe, Asia and Africa.
