Meeting of experts of the OSJD Commission on the topic "Organization of transportation of large-capacity containers in international traffic"

The CCTT Secretariat took part in the meeting of the OSJD Commission on the topic "Organization of large-capacity container transportation in international traffic", which was held in the period from 8 to 11 September this year via videoconference .

During the meeting, the participants exchanged experience on the organization of international transportation of large-capacity containers, the passage of block container trains on OSJD railways, international transportation of mail in containers and the development of cargo transportation using the CIM/SMGS consignment note in international traffic. The meeting also discussed the implementation of projects implemented under the auspices of OSJD.

The CCTT and OSJD have a long-term partnership and participate in organized business events on a mutual basis. The agreement on cooperation between OSJD and the CCTT was signed on November 2, 2007 in St. Gallen (Switzerland) in the framework of the 16th CCTT Plenary Meeting.
