Vienna, 28 July 2021: In the course of the General Assembly on 28 July 2021, the Breitspur Planungsgesellschaft (BPG) was awarded with the Triple-A Smart Sustainable Company Rating. This confirmed the project's contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Global Compact Principals at international level. The SDGs are political goals of the United Nations and came into force in 2016. They serve sustainable development on an economic, social and ecological level. This roadmap aims to enable a decent life worldwide and to preserve the natural foundations of life.

On July 30, 2021, CCTT Secretary General G.I. Bessonov met with T.I. Asanbekov, member of the Board (Minister) for Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

On July 29, 2021 the first meeting of the CCTT Multimodality working group under chairmanship of German Maslov, vice-president of the linear-logistic division of FESCO Transport Group was held in videoconference format.

During the meeting, it was discussed the issues of cooperation between CCTT and KORAIL on the development of cargo transportation from/to the Republic of Korea via the Trans-Siberian route.

The CCTT Secretary General Mr. Gennady Bessonov took part in the international conference "Central and South Asia: Regional Interconnectedness. Challenges and Opportunities", which was held on July 15-16 in Tashkent. The main purpose of the conference was to strengthen historically close and friendly ties, trust and good-neighborliness between the States of Central and South Asia in the interests of the peoples and countries of both regions.
