In connection with the approval of the list of Eurasian transport corridors and routes by the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission on October 26, 2021 a joint Eurasian Economic Commission and International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation round table "Eurasian transport corridors as part of the system of global transport communications" was held on November 11, 2021.
In his intervention he highlighted the importance of environmentally friendly, reliable, high quality and sustainable transport links for the achievement of the SDGs: "Many Asian countries are landlocked and the development of international transport corridors has become a key driver of development, a way to effectively integrate into global production networks and supply chains. The most important impulse to the formation and practical implementation of ITC in Eurasia was given by the EAEU and China, which confirmed the desire to strengthening of ties between the Eurasian integration processes and the formation of the Silk Road Economic Belt".
