The CCTT participated in the regular UPU-Rail Forum on international postal item transportation issues in rail and multimodal connections, which took place on December 6, 2021, in a format of videoconference under the aegis of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and chaired by China Post.

VII CCTT Business Forum "Transsib in the Euro-Asian Transportation System: New Opportunities and Perspectives" was held on November 24, 2021 in the format of videoconference.
The forum was organized by the International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation (CCTT) and the Association of Trans-Siberian Intermodal Operators of Japan (TSIOAJ). The forum was supported by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan (MLIT), the Russian Trade Representation in Tokyo and the Japanese Association of Trade with Russia and Newly Independent States (ROTOBO). The Forum purpose is to inform Japanese cargo owners and transport-logistics companies on the advantages of cargo transportation from/to Japan via Trans-Siberian mainline.
On November 22, 2021 Gennady Bessonov, the Secretary General of the International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation, Forwarding and Logistics and Vitaly Efimov, the Vice-president of the Eurasian Union of Transport, Forwarding and Logistics Organizations signed the «Memorandum of Cooperation between the Eurasian Union of Transport, Forwarding and Logistics Organizations and the International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation».
CCTT Secretariat took part in the 75th session of the UNECE Working Party on Rail Transport that was held on 17-19 November 2021.
Within the framework of the discussion on Euro-Asian Rail Transportation a report on the results of the XXX Plenary meeting of the CCTT, its conclusions, decisions and recommendations was presented by the Secretariat. The attention of government delegations and representatives of international sectoral organizations was drawn to the issues of increasing multimodality, environmental friendliness, transport safety, strengthening the relationship between transport and academia, the human capital development. Representatives from railway administrations and relevant organizations were invited to join the CCTT digital projects on the development of an through timetable and the introduction of electronic navigation seals on the railway transport.
On 17 November 2021, Gennady Bessonov, CCTT Secretary General, participated in the UN Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) Economic Forum «Sustainable Transport and Trade for a Green and Inclusive Economy after the Pandemic» in hybrid format in Tashkent on 17-18 November 2021.
